Case Study
We Created
Promotional Video, Photography & Website
Fowey Shellfish Company started in 1995 when Dave Hancock had the vision to create Cornwall’s first offshore rope grown mussel farm.
By 2016 the farm had increased its production to 250 tonnes per annum and since then the farm has increased its size and in 2018 became the UK’s first Soil Association certified ‘Organic’ mussel farm.
We are delighted to be working with Fowey, and always look forward to a trip to Cornwall to see them (and possibly a few pints of Cornish Ale!)
Promotional Video
Our videographer team spent several days on the dramatic Cornish water with the Fowey Shellfish crew, capturing the fishing process as it happened.
This was a gem of a job and an exhilarating experience. We’re over the moon with the video we produced.
Photography
Our photographers also headed out on the water, capturing stills to complement the video.
By shooting video and photography simultaneously, we were able to create a consistent result, which comes together to form an important part of the visual identity. Shooting on the same day means the weather conditions are the same, the light is the same, and the setup across the cameras can be like for like.
Website
Fowey required a small, simple brochure website for a professional but modest online presence. Despite being a small site, the promotional video and photos we took were used to tell a story on each page.
The website is built on WordPress which which allows Fowey to update the content themselves and add blog posts.
