We kept the logo unfussy, with nods to vintage lens brands, whilst maintaining a refined, modern look.
The limited edition lenses are manufactured and tooled with precision, so we reflected this precision in the brand with a sharp logo and fine secondary typeface. The colours within the brand are understated which gives an overall luxury high feel.
The logo was carefully crafted to have the appropriate line stroke width for an engraving tool. This allows the logo to be engraved into the vanity ring on the front of the lens.
We created a brand guideline to detail the way the identity should be used. This details colours and fonts to use within the brand, as well as some guides to packaging and engraving.
We designed an icon that can be used as a logo marque within the identity where the full logo isn’t needed. This is useful for social media profile images and other scenarios where there isn’t much space. It is designed to represent the brand even though it doesn’t have the Omnar name in it.
The combination of a high-end, textured paper stock, and a metallic print finish that sits slightly into the texture of the paper, gives the box and packaging a luxurious feel. This adds to the overall experience of purchasing and unboxing an Omnar lens, and you know you’re the owner of something special.
