Visual Brand Identity
The target audience of The Kiln is the tech and creative community of Worcester. Therefore, we needed to create a modern and creative brand identity. The identity permeates every part of The Kiln. This includes merchandise like mugs and coasters, to the interior design of the co-working space itself. The imagery includes a Kiln icon, ‘work in progress’ style chevrons, and an oriented strand board background graphic.
Promotional Print Design & Merchandise
The Kiln is mostly targeted at the local area. Therefore, traditional promotional methods such as printed flyers and advertising is as important as digital and online material. We also produce merchandise for The Kiln members, including a mug for each member with the Kiln logo on.

On social media, video is a great way to gain more engagement. The creative and tech community are two of the most prominent groups within social media, so it was extremely important to have a big impact. To this end, we created several videos and continue to create this content as The Kiln progresses.

Throughout all of The Kiln marketing collateral, it is important that people see and understand what co-working is and what the space looks like. To achieve this, we regularly take photos around The Kiln of members working and collaborating. This shows how inviting and dynamic the space is.
The destination for all the marketing efforts of The Kiln is the website. This allows people to sign up for membership, read The Kiln’s story so far, and sign up for Kiln events. The website is simple and lean, with an emphasis towards building the membership.

The website experience is optimised for mobile devices. This is crucial, as the majority of The Kiln target audience will be on a tablet or mobile phone when finding out about the space.
