We have been providing press PR photography for the local Labour Party for quite a few years now. The relationship started after we built Joy Squires’ website and we wanted to populate it with good quality images. It’s certainly been interesting meeting various well known faces of the party over the years.
The photo at the top of this post was taken today and inspired me to write this post – mostly, because I am very pleased with the outcome. It’s been taken for a hopefully fairly self explanatory part of Joy’s election campaign.
This next photo was taken for Joy when Ed Milliband visited Worcester a year or so back. Joy uses this photo on her facebook page and website as a header image.
This photo was taken when Liam Byrne visited Worcester College of technology and had a chat with the students who, at the time, were cooking the dinner for the event the Labour party were holding that evening.
Here you can see Liz Kendall in a meeting with various ‘Worcester Women’. They were having a chat about various policies that effect them. It was taken in a cafe in one of the charity shops in town.
This photo was taken for a piece Joy wrote for the very last program produced whilst Worcester City Football club were still at St. Georges Lane
This was taken when Andy Burnham came to Worcester to find out more about – and to try and stop – the closure of Worcester’s NHS walk in centre.
A photo taken of Joy in her own home
Emma Raynolds and Joy canvassing in Barbourne
And just this week when Hilary Benn had a tour of Worcester’s Canal and visited a Mosque
We have stacks more, but those are a few of my favourites. I have no doubt there will be a lot more photo opportunities as the general election comes closer.
If you, your company or indeed organisation has any requirement for this sort of PR photography, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
