F8 Creates was commissioned to produce a documentary film telling the remarkable story of Steve, the last remaining bat maker at Duncan Fearnley Cricket. With decades of craftsmanship behind him, Steve represents a disappearing skill and an important chapter in Worcestershire’s sporting heritage.

Our objective was to create a film that went beyond the manufacturing process and explored the person behind the craft.
